Position Summary
Subsystem Electrical Engineer II – Integrate and validate guidance electronics for Raytheon Missiles and Defense product portfolio. The role focuses on electronics integration, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting within the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department.

- Integrate and validate electronics during the development phase, including hardware testing, performance assessment, failure resolution, analysis, and modeling.
- Analyze hardware designs and influence architecture development and refinement.
- Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans; conduct peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert.
- Present findings to peers, management, and government customers; lead root‑cause failure investigations.
- Collaborate within a multi‑disciplined team; work independently with minimal supervision.
- Support multiple programs; utilize lab instrumentation and test equipment; handle occasional field work and foreign travel.
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
- Experience in subsystem and systems engineering requirement development and/or validation.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Background in detailed design, testing, and/or troubleshooting of missile guidance electronics subsystems (antennas, RF circuit cards, digital circuit cards, configurable logic).
- Experience with systems engineering, architecture, and desire to grow into an engineering fellow role.
- Experience working with missiles or similar systems; knowledge of mixed‑signal electronics.
- Knowledge of DoD hardware development process (design gates) and Model‑Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle; proposal development experience.
- Salary range: $68,900–$131,100 USD.
