Position Title: Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware

- Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog, and/or RF hardware while testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to document concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
- Travel requirements: less than 10% annually.
- Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm – 8am).
- Knowledge of various electrical components, circuit card assemblies, RF, analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis.
- Attain RTX Core Certification and complete Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Training.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Experience leading technical projects, conducting failure investigations, or resolving issues.
- Experience in Root‑Cause Corrective Action investigations.
- Experience designing electrical components for CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystems, including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical testing, and production/supplier support.
- Proficiency with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, or ADS.
- Knowledge of missile communication transceivers, data links, IMU, and GPS receiver subsystems.
- Experience in subsystem integration, test, post‑flight analysis, SPC methods, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementation of engineering change notices.
- Strong self‑starter capable of working independently or with a small team, providing technical oversight, cost estimation, reporting, and proposal support.
- Salary range: $107,500 - $204,500 USD.
- Work schedule:
9/80 schedule (every other Friday off). - Relocation eligible.
