Electrical Engineer - Production Support

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support production operations at a Raytheon facility. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of issue resolution from initial assessment through final closure. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience working with complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform rapid problem assessments and develop effective troubleshooting and resolution plans

+ Support production and supplier-related issue resolution, including failure analysis and corrective actions

+ Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive issues to completion and provide regular status updates

+ Maintain and update technical data packages (TDP), including creating and processing change documentation using cPDM

+ Present engineering changes in Review Boards/Change Boards

+ Troubleshoot electronic systems using lab equipment such as:

+ Oscilloscopes

+ Logic analyzers

+ Function generators

+ Programmable power supplies

+ Spectrum and network analyzers

+ Analyze defect and yield data to identify trends and implement process improvements

+ Participate in peer reviews with Engineering and Operations teams

+ Support general electrical engineering activities related to production

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

+ Experience in a manufacturing or production support environment

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic test equipment

+ Familiarity with technical documentation and engineering change processes

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams

+ Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with cPDM or similar product data management tools

+ Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments

+ Experience analyzing yield/defect data for continuous improvement initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
