Job Description
Blackstone Talent Group, an award‑winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking an Electrical Engineer Production Hardware P3 – Cleared On‑Site/ 2nd Shift MAT Ramp to join our Client's team.
This position is 2nd Shift. 3pm to 12am.
On‑site means they will be working at a Facility.
Responsibilities include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshooting and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross‑functional team with diverse backgrounds.
And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way.
- Change documentation preparation and presentation
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Own and manage an issue project to completion
What does success look like for this role?
Able to solve problems quickly and correctly, communicate effectively across multiple teams, take ownership to see a task to completion in a timely manner.
Education Required- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience
- Experience with digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed signal testing and debugging of:
- Complex circuit card assemblies
- Electro‑mechanical systems
- Experience using lab equipment, including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Function generators
- Power supplies
- Ability to interpret:
- Schematics
- PCB layouts
- Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware
- Background in designing electronic or electro‑optical subsystems, including:
- Circuit design
- Assembly processes
- Fabrication practices
- Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across:
- Electrical design
- Simulation
- Measurement domains
- Experience with:
- Subsystem integration
- Testing
- Troubleshooting
- Continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing:
- Technical guidance
- Coordination
- Project oversight
