Overview
Precise Systems is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with Circuit Card design experience to join our dynamic team in Arizona. This mid-career position requires no travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work location at our client site in Arizona. The role starts as a six-month contract, with the possibility to grow into a long-term or permanent position based on your performance and the company's needs.
This role requires in-person support.
- You will be responsible for supporting our client operations in Arizona, working on technical projects that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain engineering solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- This role involve tasks such as schematic capture, physical layout, component selection, simulation, and testing.
- In this role, you will apply engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop systems or components according to requirements.
- You will be expected to conduct tests, collect data, and document results to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- The position involves working with CAD software to create technical drawings and models, as well as participating in design reviews and providing technical input to improve existing processes.
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, implementing corrective actions, and providing regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- The ability to interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is essential for success in this position.
- You will have opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will be expected to stay current with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to your field of expertise.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
- Professional engineering certification or license preferred but not required
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Circuit Card Design experience
- Demonstrated experience in design, development, or maintenance of engineering systems
- Experience with testing methodologies and quality control processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a client-facing environment
- Previous experience with engineering software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices relevant to the industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Basic project management capabilities
- Attention to detail and precision in work output
- Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements
- History of successful project completion within timeline and budget constraints
- Background in implementing and following quality control procedures
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Prior work in a similar industry preferred
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience in engineering contexts
- Experience mentoring junior team members a plus
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
