Calibration Technician Job Tucson area,Arizona USA,Engineering

Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a Contract to hire with a client in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting high-pressure calibration environments, including calibration, testing, and verification of pressure instruments, transmitters, transducers, gauges, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, or similar high-pressure measurement equipment.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities include:

Perform on-site calibrations in accordance with industry standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and traceability of results.
Document calibration data and maintain detailed records while identifying and reporting any equipment issues.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service updates, technical requirements, and scheduling.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and support cross-training initiatives.
Adhere to safety protocols, SOPs, and quality standards during all calibration activities.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in calibration or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with calibration standards (ISO/IEC 17025) and ability to perform accurate measurements across multiple disciplines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document results, follow procedures, and communicate effectively in customer-facing environments.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
