Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile; HACM Avionics Integrated Product Team Lead; IPTL; Onsite

Position Summary

Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile (HACM) Program, based in Tucson, AZ. Lead a geographically dispersed, multi‑disciplined team in designing, developing, and delivering Guidance Section, Flight Termination System, Telemetry, and Electronics sub‑systems within a challenging schedule.

• Drive execution of work scope defined in the program schedule and define objectives and priorities for sub‑IPT leads.
• Communicate status, accomplishments, issues, and assistance needs to RTX and program leadership.
• Manage team budget and schedule; ensure cost goals and schedule milestones are met.
• Track cost and schedule performance using EVMS, manage estimated‑at‑complete (EAC) calculations, and report business metrics.
• Provide program leadership to sub‑IPTs and collaborative partners.
• Manage development maturation of leading‑edge Guidance Section subsystem technologies to deliver production‑ready designs.
• Maintain alignment across the portfolio through extensive interaction with program managers, engineering leaders, chief engineers, and technical subject matter experts.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members; collaborate with other IPTs to ensure system effectiveness.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a multi‑disciplined hardware engineering team.
• Experience with technical team and supplier management.
• Experience using program management tools such as EVMS, IMP, IMS, and risk and opportunity management.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Familiarity with hypersonic programs.
• Program management certification.
• Excellent presentation and proposal skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience as an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) driving design and development.
• Advanced degree in STEM.
• Top Secret clearance preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing a multi‑disciplined hardware engineering team through the product development lifecycle.

Onsite – Tucson, AZ. Salary range: 157,200 USD – 298,800 USD.

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required.
