Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Land Surveyor that is seeking a management/ownership position to join our team. The Registered Land Surveyor will be in responsible charge of the survey department and work closely with team members on daily operations. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to utilize advanced surveying technologies. The Registered Land Surveyor will work closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
LandSurveyor Duties
- Coordinate land surveys using various methods including drone and traditional surveying techniques.
- Prepare detailed survey drawings and reports utilizing AutoCAD and Carlson software.
- Collaborate with survey engineering teams to support project planning and design.
- Analyze data collected from surveys to create maps and legal descriptions of property boundaries.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land use and surveying practices.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data, equipment usage, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
- Expertise in topographic surveys, land surveying, and surveying.
- Experience with total station survey equipment for precise accurate measurements.
- Proficiency in building surveying and related techniques.
- Strong knowledge of land and property laws and regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Carlson Survey a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor license in the state of Arizona.
