West Land’s Tucson Engineering Department is adding an Engineer In Training to its Water/Wastewater team. The role focuses on water and wastewater system planning, infrastructure design, and treatment design, and provides exposure to a broad range of projects.
Responsibilities- Help create and develop written proposals, including technical writing as needed.
- Assist in the development of water and wastewater design projects, such as water distribution storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, lift stations, piping, conveyance systems, and other system details.
- Coordinate communication and delivery of information among West Land, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Learn to initiate and develop relationships with current and future clients and vendors.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Must be registered or able to register as an Engineer In Training (EIT).
- Preferred: prior experience in an engineering environment, water distribution and storage design, and wastewater collection or pump station design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD software preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
$60,000 – $79,000 annually.
