What You Will Do
Perform design verification and validation of traditional Mechanical 2D Drawings as well as Model-Based Design TDPs. Ensure that mechanical design documentation and models consist of both complex and simple machined parts, castings, and other fabricated items. Verify that mechanical traditional and Model-Based Designs are checked for form, fit, and function to program unique requirements while conforming to specific company and industry specifications and standards.
Confirm synchronization of design representation (drawings) with the design database models from which they were derived, is authenticated. Overall, ensure that the design verification and validation follows ASME Y14.41 and MIL-STD-31000 standards.
Perform design verification and validation of traditional Electrical 2D TDPs (including circuit card assembly, flexible circuit assembly, printed wiring board, and schematic design representation). Include electronic Bills of Material (eBOMs) and design models developed using computer aided design tools. Use applications such as EXPEDITION-DxDESIGNER, BLUEPRINT, VALOR, and Excel for eBOM and other electrical change comparison software. Apply Electrical Model-Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and electronic Bills of Material (eBOMs) experience.
Support reviews of software documents per program requirements. Confirm synchronization of design representation with the design database models is authenticated. Ensure compliance with ASME Y14.41 and MIL-STD-31000 standards.
