The Product Integrity organization ensures our products are released under configuration control on‑time, with the proper quality and rigor. The Effectors Configuration Management organization is looking for a Manager located on‑site in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities- Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities related to identification, control, verification, and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements for classified programs.
- Technically support program milestones and contribute to successful reviews and customer interchanges.
- Meet the program's committed schedule, cost, and performance requirements.
- Actively engage with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and IPT Leads to ensure that Configuration Management is represented within the program.
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control activities (including classified support).
- Support new proposal efforts and manage program Estimate at Complete (EAC) for CM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field.
- At least 8 years of Configuration Management experience.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
- Experience leading projects.
- Experience with government standards and processes such as EIA-649, Configuration Management Standard.
- Experience generating Configuration Management productivity metrics and/or reports.
- Experience estimating, proposing, and managing configuration management cost and schedule on a program.
- Experience with project planning.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and peers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including developing and presenting technical briefings to Leadership.
- Ability to identify complex problems associated with technical engineering data regarding configuration management issues and take corrective action as needed.
