Overview
Position:
Senior RF Product Development Engineer (Onsite).
Location:
Tucson, AZ. U.S. citizen required with an active Secret security clearance. This role focuses on leading the design, development, and supplier management of complex RF and radar systems in a fast‑paced, budget‑ and schedule‑critical environment.
- Organize and lead RF hardware development teams for products such as transmitters, receivers, exciter CCAs, seekers, AESAs, antennas, radomes, and RF/Radar subsystems.
- Ensure technical performance, cost, and schedule alignment for all projects.
- Provide technical management and oversight of suppliers, including interface on design, build, deliveries, and issue resolution.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- Product team leadership experience, including task definition, assignment, and cost & schedule tracking (Earned Value Management).
- Experience overseeing RF hardware suppliers and managing RF/Radar hardware development tasks such as requirements development, validation, design, and testing.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date and a special program access clearance thereafter.
- Advanced degree in a STEM field plus knowledge of RF/Microwave Engineering, Antenna Engineering, or Radar Systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, finance, supply chain, and other leads.
- Project management experience from conception through production transition, including cost estimating, budget and schedule management, and writing proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and willingness to travel for supplier engagement and customer meetings.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD, based on experience.
