In this role, you'll provide technical leadership for the Cabin Pressure Controller Cell
, ensuring manufacturing issues are resolved quickly and effectively while supporting quality, productivity, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will directly influence product reliability, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
As a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer, you'll serve as a key technical resource, collaborating across engineering, quality, operations, and program management teams to keep production moving and improve manufacturing performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues related to cabin pressure controller assemblies and associated mechanical components.
Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) to support Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and drive process improvements.
Read, interpret, and analyze mechanical prints, technical drawings, and equipment documentation to diagnose and resolve production and test failures.
Disposition non‑conforming hardware and provide technical guidance on corrective actions.
Partner closely with technicians and production teams to improve troubleshooting efficiency and maximize operational throughput.
Communicate technical findings and solutions effectively with technicians, supervisors, engineering leadership, quality teams, and program stakeholders.
Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, repair procedures, and technical reports.
Adapt quickly to legacy and unfamiliar hardware platforms, applying strong engineering fundamentals to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, quality requirements, and ITAR regulations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, and manufacturing excellence.
Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to address technical and process‑related issues.
Required Qualifications
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with outflow control valves and related mechanical systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Practical engineering, technical, or manufacturing experience acquired through education, hands‑on work, military service, or equivalent professional background.
Ability to work effectively in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting legacy or aging hardware platforms.
Experience using SAP, JIRA, and Teamcenter
.Knowledge of configuration control and engineering change management processes.
Deep mechanical expertise with the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems and manufacturing tools.
Experience working directly with suppliers and vendors.
Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other high‑reliability manufacturing environments.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and relevant experience will be considered.
Typically requires 3–5 years of related engineering or manufacturing experience in a similar role.
