What You Will Do
- Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
- Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc. to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and/or chambers, including relevant test equipment.
- Work with chamber/range equipment and service suppliers.
- Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following: experience testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range, experience with the operation of an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber/range, experience with antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation.
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
- Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering.
- Significant experience simulating and/or estimating the effects of propagation, reflections, and scattering on an antenna under test (AUT) in an anechoic chamber.
- Measurement of hardware for RCS.
- Significant experience specifying, building, and validating antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
- Proficiency with Python, MATLAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages.
- Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM.
- Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and GRASP.
- Experience designing and testing conformal antennas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sources.
- Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to put forth and drive technical execution plans.
- Knowledgeable of management processes, such as Earned Value.
- Experience presenting in technical reviews.
- Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms.
- Experience designing datalink, flight termination, telemetry, and/or GPS antenna systems.
- Experience being a Cost Account Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead.
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
