Tucson, AZ – Onsite position.
OverviewIntegrated Product Team Lead – Excalibur Hit‑To‑Kill (HTK) Program. Leads a multi‑disciplined, geographically dispersed engineering team to deliver the Excalibur HTK Projectile. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, suppliers, and government customers.
Responsibilities- Drive execution of work scope per program schedule, define objectives and priorities for the IPT.
- Communicate status, accomplishments, issues, and assistance needs to program and engineering leadership.
- Manage team budget and schedule, ensuring cost and schedule milestones are met while maintaining technical rigor.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager on EVMS, estimated‑at‑complete (EACs), and report business metrics to leadership.
- Manage engineering support for delivery of the Excalibur HTK Projectile.
- Review and/or lead projectile build related failure investigations, ensuring proper technical rigor and corrective actions.
- Provide technical direction, expertise, and review for Technical Data Package (TDP) maintenance.
- Maintain alignment across the portfolio through extensive interaction with Program Managers, Engineering Directorate Leaders, Chief Engineers, and technical SMEs.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to IPT members.
- Collaborate with other IPTs to ensure coordination of efforts.
- Degree in STEM and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing multi‑disciplined Hardware Engineering teams.
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects.
- Experience with supplier management of sub‑systems.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required.
- Preference for experience with Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and risk & opportunity management tools.
- Experience driving technical failure investigations and production resolutions.
- Advanced degree in STEM preferred.
- Familiarity with the Excalibur HTK Program.
- Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
