Job OverviewTo develop and deliver training programs for regional teams involved in Komatsu's Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) operation. The trainer is also responsible for supporting deployment by preparing training plans, conducting technical sessions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all staff engaged in autonomous haulage operations. Additionally, the role includes facilitating employee development through effective knowledge transfer, providing coaching, and ensuring teams across the organization achieve and maintain proficiency in AHS technology.
Key Job Responsibilities- Create, review, and update training content, documentation, and learning resources to support AHS operations.
- Conduct technical training sessions for regional teams and distributor networks involved in Komatsu's AHS.
- Prepare structured training plans for new site deployments and system rollouts and assist with onboarding operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Coach personnel to improve AHS proficiency and operational understanding by leading knowledge‑transfer sessions for new system releases and updates.
- Work closely with engineering and development groups to ensure training accurately reflects current system capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM related field.
- 2 years of experience in technical training, technical support, mechanical/electrical systems, or a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, essential for explaining complex systems to varied audiences.
- Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (standard business travel consists of a two‑three week international trip to support deployment activities while working with Komatsu regional personnel).
- Three years of experience in troubleshooting, testing or similar technical duties, or customer support of Komatsu products.
- Front Runner and/or DISPATCH system knowledge.
- High‑level analytical and troubleshooting skills on mining equipment, especially haul trucks.
- Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
- AHS hardware structure and function.
- Networking basics.
- Database structure or query basics.
