Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of approximately 10–20 members, establish measurable goals, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate career development discussions.
  • Set objectives and guide others on execution for operational results, ensuring alignment with department and center policies.
  • Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
  • Interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and functional management to drive results and achieve program and business unit objectives.
  • Support Test Solutions hiring goals and lead onboarding of new section personnel.
  • Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE Support flight test capabilities.
  • Develop and install Cybersecurity compliant TE (Linux, iOS, Windows); install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve production and development TE issues to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks or enterprises.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect TE availability or test integrity.
  • Support all required reviews for TE implementation changes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Typically requires eight (8) years of relevant experience managing Test Equipment on a DoD compliant information systems.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems in desktop and server environments.
  • Experience leading/managing a team of engineers and/or project lead experience with Test Systems.
  • Current DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials including CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA CySA+.
  • Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) preferred.
  • Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with all Microsoft Windows and Linux systems.
  • Experience with network infrastructure architecture and operation including Active Directory, group policy design, file sharing, NIS, and DNS.
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper‑V, vCenter, vSphere, and ESX.
  • Experience scripting in Windows and Linux, including legacy systems.
