Position Summary
M3 Engineering & Technology is seeking an Architect to join our Tucson-based General Arrangement (GA) team. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and development of large-scale industrial and mining facilities around the world. Working within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams, you will help transform complex operational requirements into practical, innovative, and constructible facility designs.
The successful candidate will utilize BIM and 3D modeling tools, including Revit and AutoCAD, to develop buildings, structures, and site layouts from early concept studies through detailed design and construction. Depending on experience and project needs, this role offers opportunities to serve as both a key design contributor and a project design lead, coordinating with clients and engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is ideal for architects who enjoy solving complex industrial design challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and seeing their work progress from concept to construction on some of the industry’s most significant projects.
Basic Duties- Revit 3D modeling to design and develop buildings and structures for industrial and mining projects, including equipment modeling and layout. Work includes both greenfield and retrofit projects.
- Site planning layout for multiple buildings on a project site utilizing Autocad.
- Will be responsible for the coordination with client teams.
- Coordinate all aspects of industrial building and site design with internal departments including civil, structural, architectural, electrical, piping, instrumentation, mechanical and process.

- Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Pass a background check.
- Previous industrial / mining or large scale project design experience.
- 3–8+ years of architectural design experience, preferably on industrial, mining, manufacturing, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Architectural License or strong desire to obtain registration.
- Demonstratable creativity and proble solving skills.
- Strong BIM modeling and coordination experience using Revit
AutoCAD proficiency. - Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams is highly valued
