The Effector Digital Products department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team. We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today's cutting edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
Position OverviewThe Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. The candidate will be working in a collaborative team environment.

Core Technical Skills (Non Negotiables)- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology)
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering digital circuit design experience
- Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to complete hardware design and verification via test and integration
- Experience with PCB design and the tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution
- A US Security clearance prior to the start date (US citizenship required)
- Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis, and design for production
- Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA)
- Familiarity with DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, Xilinx (Zynq Ultrascale, Vivado, Atrix), Hyper Lynx, Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB)
- Experience with complex circuit card assemblies between 16 and 32 layers
- Knowledge of constraint editor systems (CES)
- Knowledge of software and/or FPGA code development
- Experience leading program transition from development into production
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical and schedule risks, identify cost reduction opportunities, and manage schedule and resources to meet milestones
- Capable of functioning in multidisciplinary design teams across multiple projects
- Requirements creation and analysis
- Parts selection and trade studies
- Architecture design block diagrams
- Schematic capture and involvement with physical layout process
- Lab checkout and integration of hardware utilizing test plan and lab equipment
