What You Will Do
  • Verify product and process compliance with respect to contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop strong working relationships with touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMA.
  • Perform regular data analysis; develop and use action metrics; generate and publish Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics and facilitate timely red rack dispositions.
  • Facilitate and lead cross‑functional team in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure and leading Corrective Action Boards (CAB).
  • Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary.
  • Support work instruction development and maintenance activities by reviewing work instructions, test instructions, auditing processes, and assuring configuration management.
  • Develop and maintain inspection instructions, ensuring they meet technical data package requirements and production needs.
  • Develop and release First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102.
  • Regularly interface with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and internal stakeholders to manage issues.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials, consumable materials control, and manufacturing process experience in assembly, inspection, or test.
  • Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance prior to the start date.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Competency and experience in a relevant technical discipline with understanding of engineering principles and design analysis techniques.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams in auditing processes and product/process improvements in the factory or at suppliers.
  • Experience in Product/Process Failure Modes & Affects Analysis, Regression Analysis.
  • Experience in PRISM, CABS, Business Warehouse, and RCAS.
  • Experience with AS9145 – Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • High computer proficiency, including skills working with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Six Sigma and/or ASQ certifications.
Benefits and Compensation

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.

Employment Details

Weekend work schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, three 12‑hour shifts. Shift differential of 8% for work from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, plus additional 4 hours straight time within the week.

Onsite role:
Employees working onsite primarily in production and maintenance.
