Raytheon is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to support design and integration of different test environments. The individual will need to be familiar with designing using various tools (Autocad, Creo parametric, etc).

• Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.
• Perform system design and integration activities within HWIL facilities.

• System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.
• Advanced signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF test environments.
• Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience using design tools such as Auto Cad or Creo Parametric.
• Ability to obtain, and maintain, US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. An interim Secret clearance is required to start work. US citizenship is required.

• Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
• Existing SSBI clearance.
• Experience with mechanical design and/or experience conducting data analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
• Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude.
• Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team.
• Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance.
• Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553.
• Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes.

• Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
