Raytheon is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to support design and integration of different test environments. The individual will need to be familiar with designing using various tools (Autocad, Creo parametric, etc).
What You Will Do- Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.
- Perform system design and integration activities within HWIL facilities.
- System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.
- Advanced signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF test environments.
- Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience using design tools such as Auto Cad or Creo Parametric.
- Ability to obtain, and maintain, US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. An interim Secret clearance is required to start work. US citizenship is required.
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Existing SSBI clearance.
- Experience with mechanical design and/or experience conducting data analysis.
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude.
- Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team.
- Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance.
- Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553.
- Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
