2026 Intern-Raytheon RF Mechanical Engineer (Onsite)

We are seeking current college students for an RF Mechanical internship in our Effector RF Products Department. Interns will support the development of RF products and technologies, including antennas, RF electronics, and supporting test equipment as part of a multi‑discipline team.

• Collaborate in a multi‑discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems.
• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs.
• Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication.
• Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware.
• Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts.

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Minimum sophomore standing at the start of Summer 2026.
• Experience and/or coursework, project, or internship in manufacturing and design, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, and/or statics.

• ABET accreditation preferred; 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools, preferably Creo Parametric.
• Class projects, professional internships, or academic research demonstrating the ability to apply technical coursework.

• Competitive salary range: $37,000 – $82,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
