The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and supporting mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes in accordance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and quality system requirements. This role supports product development, production operations, and continuous improvement initiatives by applying sound engineering principles to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and reliability. The Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in supporting engineering excellence and operational success.

- Proficiency in CAD modeling and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis abilities.

- Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, and bills of material.
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and tolerance studies.
- Support design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions, prototypes, and first‑article builds.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation and work instructions.
- Ensure designs and processes comply with ISO 9001/AS 9100 and customer requirements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non‑conforming products.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Program teams.
- Support customer technical inquiries and engineering changes.
- Communicate design intent, risks, and changes effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Support implementation of process improvements and engineering best practices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 37 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
