What You Will Do
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry, primarily involving 3‑phase inverter design, sensor interfacing, and controller circuits.
- Draft and design circuit cards at the board level, guiding development from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
- Manage schedule concerns and define schedules for circuit‑level tasking.
- Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities and assist with layer stackup definition.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree.
- Experience with motor types such as brushed, BLDC, or PMSM is a plus.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica) and analog design (FETs/BJTs, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, comparators).
- Hands‑on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency generators, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A self‑starter who learns quickly and manages time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills at the small‑team level.
- Knowledge of wide bandgap devices (SiC, GaN), power electronics simulators, military specifications, high‑voltage and high‑power design, and program management tools.
- Competitive salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
