Position
Power & Analog Design Engineer II (Onsite – Tucson, AZ)
Security ClearanceActive Secretary of Defense Secret clearance required.
Responsibilities- Support the design, analysis, test, and/or documentation of electronic circuits.
- Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
- Provide product test and troubleshoot support.
- Understand and report execution status to the planned budget and schedule.
- Function as an individual contributor.
- Clearly present your work product to leadership.
- Engage in professional growth and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with RF, power, analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis, and/or digital signal processing.
- Experience with analog laboratory equipment such as waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
- Experience with simulation software for circuit analysis or modeling.
- Knowledge of engineering design tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS, SABER RD, SIMPLIS, or xDX Designer.
- Experience with power supply topologies (buck, boost, buck‑boost), FET/BJT, op‑amp, high/low/band‑pass filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, statistical process control (SPC), technical writing, formal presentation, and engineering change notices (ECN).
- Experience supporting or executing electronics CAD layouts for printed wiring or circuit boards.
- Self‑starter capable of working independently and with small technical teams.
- Ability to provide technical oversight, cost estimation, tracking, reporting, coordination, and proposal support.
- Desire to lead design efforts and/or small teams, and communicate project status with program leadership and/or customers.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. Additional incentives may apply.
