Job Title: Product Development Engineer - Associate (PDE) – Tucson, AZ
Position Type: Onsite
Location: 3360 E Hemisphere Loop, Tucson, AZ
Security Clearance: U.S. citizen required; U.S. government issued Secret clearance necessary from day one.
- Serve as control point for technical communication with PCB and CCA suppliers during builds.
- Drive procurement and build schedule to meet program needs.
- Field technical queries, panel reviews, ship approvals and third‑party screening processes and reports from PCB suppliers; delegate to supporting PDEs.
- Generate status and yield reports for metrics tracking.
- Track causes and corrective action plans for supplier related issues.
- Analyze RFQ/RFP to assist other PDEs in expediting prototype builds.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience in cross‑functional teams or projects with ability to multi‑task and establish/meet schedules.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, specifically PCB and CCA.
- Experience with supplier communication and coordination of multi‑tier supply chain.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Managing and coordinating PCB and CCA supplier interactions and communications.
- Experience with GD&T, engineering drafting standards, and producibility considerations related to electronic packaging.
- Experience with DoD procurement processes and compliance issues.
- BOM management skills to support rapid response efforts.
Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, and other benefits per business unit.
Security Clearance RequirementsMust obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
