Sr. Mechanical design engineer

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Nacho Offroad Technology located in Mesa, AZ. As a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and assemblies for off-road vehicles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, cost, time, and quality requirements. You will be involved in all phases of the product development process, from concept generation to final production.

This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing methods, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design
• 5+ years of experience in CAD design (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Experience with off-road vehicle design is a plus
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements is a plus
