Responsibilities
- Oversee process optimization and associated operations of a large wastewater utility
- Coordinate engineering evaluations with city/county departments and agencies
- Analyze treatment processes and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Develop wastewater process control policies and procedures
- Train, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or closely-related field
- Four years of experience in water/wastewater industry, project management, or related fields
- Two years of supervisory or management experience
- Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Grade 4 Wastewater or Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification may substitute for Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred:
Engineering degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering - Minimum three years’ experience in project management and mechanical system designs
