Managing Technical Consultant, Mining Services

Responsibilities

• Act as a Project Manager for various projects across multiple industries, with a focus on mining
• Support mining projects throughout their entire lifecycle
• Structure and guide work processes to design, implement and improve programs
• Provide support for federal and state permitting activities related to mining projects
• Responsible for ensuring project compliance with environmental regulations
• Prepare proposals, including development of scopes and cost estimates
• Adhere to scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
• Build strong collaborative relationships with clients and other ERM employees
• Distil and analyze complex data, trends, and concepts into clear and concise takeaways

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent
• 6+ years of professional experience relevant to the responsibilities described above
• Experience working in the mining/metals field, site experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office computer skills, with an advanced understanding of PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Ability to maintain flexibility and work independently with minimal supervision
• Motivated to deliver outstanding client service and grow the business
• Experience with regulatory applications for mining and/or mine closure preferred
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken preferred
