Raytheon’s Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team seeks mid‑career engineers with electronics knowledge to design robust motor control systems.
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry.
- Develop 3‑phase inverter designs, sensor interfaces, and controller circuits.
- Build board‑mounted power end‑use applications.
- Draft and design circuit cards.
- Guide circuit card development from requirements through integration testing.
- Drive schedule concerns and define circuit‑level task schedules.
- Guide ECAD drafters in layout, routing, and layer‑stackup definition.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and a minimum of 5years of related experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3years.
- Experience with motor types (Brushed, BLDC, or PMSM) and motor control design.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
- Analog electronics design experience (FETs/BJTs, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, comparators).
- Hands‑on lab experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency generators, power supplies, or data‑acquisition systems.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Self‑starter, quick learner, strong time‑management skills, and appreciation for team structure.
- Excellent communication and documentation at the small‑team level.
- Experience with wide‑bandgap devices (SiC, GaN) in power electronics.
- Experience with simulators (SIMPLIS, SABER, Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Hyperlynx) or military specifications.
- Familiarity with voltages >400V and/or power >10kW, three‑phase power systems, power‑factor control, and inverter/rectifier development.
- Program‑management tool experience (Earned Value).

- Salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
