The Effector RF Design Department is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to develop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems, subsystems and components, including antennas, RF circuit card assemblies, radomes, and RF test equipment.
What You Will Do- Collaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs
- Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication
- Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
- Experience performing design and analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g., circuit card assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses and interconnects) throughout the product life cycle, using 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for products
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
- Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric)
- Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging
- Experience with harness and interconnect design
- Experience creating engineering drawings
- Experience fabricating prototype designs
- Familiarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team
- Experience performing tolerance analysis
- Self‑motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from varied communities and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Salary range: 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. Compensation considers various factors including role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and skills.
