We are seeking a Supply Quality Engineer (APQP Engineer) to support supplier quality, product supply strategy, and cost optimization initiatives for new and existing products. This role will be responsible for managing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, supporting supplier selection and quality, driving Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), and ensuring components are delivered on time, at the required quality, and at the optimal total cost.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering, Supplier Development, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through PPAP and production launch.
Key Responsibilities Supplier Quality & APQP- Lead and manage APQP activities from concept through PPAP to ensure successful product launches.
- Coordinate supplier quality planning activities to deliver components that meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and supplier readiness.
- Escalate supplier quality concerns to Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs) and support containment and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement through supplier quality feedback and lessons learned.
- Implement product supply strategies aligned with category management objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Transportation, and Supplier Development teams.
- Support supplier selection and sourcing activities using Teamcenter and engineering workflow processes.
- Identify suppliers for buy-level components and coordinate engineering release activities.
- Drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to reduce product cost while maintaining quality and performance.
- Perform should-cost analysis and evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives and supplier cost reduction opportunities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, CAD models, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve product quality and supplier performance.
- Support engineering changes and supplier implementation activities.
- Utilize Teamcenter to manage engineering workflows and documentation.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering
, or a related Engineering discipline preferred. - Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
