Overview
Reliability Engineer II role located in Tucson, AZ. Onsite position requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. RTX is a leading aerospace and defense company with a strong focus on safety, reliability and life cycle engineering.
Responsibilities- Support the implementation of reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development, production and sustainment.
- Collaborate with an engineering team of varying experience and sub-disciplines.
- Conduct analyses related to Reliability, Maintainability and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS).
- Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, Reliability Predictions and Derating.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.
- Typically requires a University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Predictions, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Derating, FRACAS or related activities.
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
- Experience in supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Customer focus, collaboration skills, and strong written/oral communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and preparation/presentation of briefing materials.
- Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with standards, with the ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions and drive closure.

Location:
Tucson, AZ. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. This is a U.S.
-based role; pay structure applies accordingly.
