Overview
Process Control Engineer 2 - (105921-1) — Tucson, AZ — 12 Months
Responsibilities- Implementing product supply strategies
- Managing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Cost management
- Quality assurance of components and finished products
- Driving Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE)
- Managing the quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned on quality defects are applied across the supply base
- APQP and cost management activities from concept to PPAP to deliver parts at the right quality, total cost, and meet timelines, collaborating with packaging, transportation, business resources, and supply chain
- Extensive use of Teamcenter and Workflow processes to collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Development to identify supplier sources for Buy level parts
- Escalating supplier quality defects to Supplier Development Engineers for containment
- Implementing product supply strategies aligned with category management to create a competitive advantage by developing, optimizing, and integrating a world-class supply network
- Interacting with cross-functional teams including Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, Engineering, Quality, and Engineering Value Chain teams
- Team Structure: 2 agency workers
- Work environment:
Office setting / Production manufacturing environment
- Years of experience: 2 or more years required
- Degree requirement:
Bachelor's in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Industrial, and Supply Chain degrees accepted) - Internships as job experience:

Supplier quality engineer
- Communication skills – both written and oral
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- APQP process understanding and ability to apply
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and computer-generated reports
- 3D modeling or Creo experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

- Should-Cost Analysis
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while driving department goals and deliverables
