Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Position Summary
Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) program—supporting the Danish Ministry of Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO). This onsite role will be based in Tucson, AZ or Portsmouth, RI.
What You Will Do- Lead execution of the Integrated Product Team for a defined WBS element (e.g., launcher, rail, interface cabinet).
- Own product‑level technical integration, maturation, and schedule execution across participating functions.
- Lead CAM activities, serve as the Control Account Owner (CAO) for the product’s WBS scope, and ensure EVMS compliance, baseline integrity, and variance analysis.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities; develop and execute mitigation strategies.
- Provide inputs to the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule and support baseline change control.
- Lead product‑level engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and ensure readiness.
- Support proposals including scope definition, BOEs, and WBS alignment.
- Ensure compliance with engineering processes, configuration management, and Quality and Mission Assurance requirements.
- Provide schedule, risk, and production status updates.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (unless prohibited by local laws).
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Engineering, systems integration, or program execution experience.
- Leadership experience of cross‑functional or technical teams.
- Experience with RLPM, EVMS, WBS, and schedule integration concepts.
- Configuration management and quality processes experience.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required before the start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Prior IPTL, CAO, or CAM experience.
- Experience in missile development or subsystem leadership.
- Strong communication skills to interface with Program Management and customers.
- Lean/Six Sigma training or equivalent experience.
Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD per year. Eligible applicants may receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements. Performance‑based incentive compensation is available for eligible levels.
