Senior Mechanical Engineer (Reliability)
Location:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10+ years of experience in medical devices as a product development engineer role.
• Hands on experience in design and identifying suitable material for production parts, DFM/DFA concepts in product design, familiar with the latest engineering technology and production processes.
• Ensure that product complaints and other quality events are investigated in a timely fashion and create plans for remediation.
• Ability to present and articulate the root cause analysis for the specific problem statement and technical issue to the client.
• Hands on experience in engineering change management (ECN, ECR, and DCO).
• Hands on experience in EPDM/PLM for managing the lifecycle of the components.
• Ability to identify areas of improvement in product quality and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and proactiveness to connect with various stakeholders and present the status and change ideas.
• Able to interact with suppliers and other stakeholders for procurement and clarifications.
• Developing and executing test plans to verify and validate the product design.
• Experience in handling lab instruments and electro-mechanical products.
• Proficient in Solid Works CAD software (creating 3D models, sheet metal, 2D drawing, and assembly).
• Experience with standard NPD process. Understanding of compliance requirements.
• Experience in geometric dimension and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Hands on experience in creating design methodologies, planning, and executing design reviews including documentation.
• Experience in sustenance projects and medical device standards is an added advantage.
• As an individual contributor, expected to have experience in a sprint-based agile environment.
• Monitoring overall progress and reporting project progress to senior management.
