  • Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans.
  • Troubleshoot electronics in a lab or production environment, perform system and circuit‑level analysis, integrate subsystems, support failure investigations, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaborate with functional and program higher‑level management.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers.
  • Work with program leadership and system stakeholders to define model requirements.
  • Compile inputs from system requirements, architecture, electrical interface parameters, schematics, and hardware specifications into an interconnect model.
  • Collaborate with mechanical harness‑design teams on cable design and routing.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings to align teams with model status.
  • Prepare and conduct peer reviews of model contents and present packages for engineering review.
  • Generate test procedures/plans, document results, and present task results to small technical teams.
  • Work independently or as part of a team in an office and lab environment; occasional field work may be required.
  • Support multiple programs and labs using instrumentation and test equipment.
  • Travel occasionally, including foreign travel.
Qualifications – You Must Have
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with electrical hardware development, testing, or subsystems/systems engineering, including requirement development and validation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of interconnect capture tools such as Siemens Capital Suites.
  • Experience writing and executing test procedures.
  • Experience integrating and testing electrical hardware/subsystems.
  • Experience with system block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, harness schematics, electrical interface parameters, and harness components (connectors & wires).
  • Familiarity with interface specs, high‑speed digital interface, power distribution, grounding, shielding, signal integrity, and contact arrangements.
  • Experience working with missiles or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of mixed‑signal electronics.
  • Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive suppliers to meet commitments.
  • Knowledge of DOD hardware development process design gates.
  • Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Model‑Based System Engineering (MBSE).
