What You Will Do- Create high‑fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
- Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system and subsystem performance.
- Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other performance teams to perform simulation activities per the program schedule.
- Work across projects, develop approaches and solutions, and provide guidance throughout the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
- Provide technical expertise for simulation products, assist Senior Modeling Engineers in preparing detailed plans, and coordinate with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with object‑oriented software design in C++, C, MATLAB, or Python for data evaluation.
- Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
- Modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions.
- Functional or technical lead experience within an engineering environment.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government‑issued Security Clearance prior to start.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
- Leadership experience managing others with system engineering principles.
- Experience creating and presenting technical briefings.
- Experience developing signal processing or GNC algorithms/models for missile applications.
- Experience with control hardware design & test or hardware‑software integration.
- Modeling physics or flight dynamics systems.
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux workstations, Git, and software configuration management.
- Knowledge in radar, signal & image processing, radar/EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability & statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture, inertial navigation, guidance theory.
The salary range is USD 107,500 – 204,500.
