Electrical Engineer II
Location:
Tucson, Arizona.
Security Clearance: U.S. government issued DoD Secret clearance (active and existing required by day
1). U.S. citizenship required.
- Design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Directorate.
- Develop engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design, and analysis.
- Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
- Act within a team or independently to uncover and resolve issues related to test product development and implementation.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in electrical engineering including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
- Experience with design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
- Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
Preferred:
- Master of Science in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
- Leadership experience in multidiscipline teams.
- Experience in analog, digital, and/or RF design.
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed-signal, and electrical system interconnects.
- Experience with development environments and debugging tools for software.
- Self‑starter with workload management and meeting deadlines.
- Teamwork skills and proficient technical writing and presentations.
- Leadership of single or multi‑discipline engineering teams.
- Project management, bid and proposal experience.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization.
- Experience in programming language development and implementation.
- Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting expertise.
- Familiarity with RTX projects, programs, or systems.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 per year.
