Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required prior to start date. Active Top Secret clearance may also be required.
What You Will Do- Interface with customers and key suppliers
- Develop, refine, and maintain system Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Create and refine system architecture
- Develop system requirements and lead the team in creating subsystem‑level requirements
- Perform functional and physical analyses and functional allocation
- Develop and lead requirements verification strategies and plans
- Develop integrated systems security solutions
- Plan and execute system‑level to subassembly integration, verification, and validation
- Develop and implement a Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) strategy
- Support system deployment, production, and life‑cycle logistics planning
- Collaborate and coordinate cross‑functionally in an agile environment with multiple product teams and release trains
- Establish and maintain relationships with other programs, program leadership, and the customer community
- Coordinate with program leadership on long‑term strategy and planning
- Review and support trade studies, down‑selects, and other analyses
- Manage CDRL, develop reports, and deliver documentation
- Develop materials for customer meetings (reviews, technical interface meetings, status meetings, etc.) and brief customers
- Lead the product Systems Engineering teams through architecture development, requirements development, requirements management, trade studies, and provide Systems Engineering oversight during integration and test activities
- Work on subsystems within the Air Dominance AMRAAM C9/D4 program
- Minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
- Experience working on a cross‑functional team of systems engineers and multi‑discipline engineers
- Experience with systems engineering product development cycle
- Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics
- Experience presenting analytical and technical presentations
- Detailed experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Embedded software
- Nuclear survivability
- RF signal processing
- GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control)
- RF system integration & test
- 6
DOF/model development
- Experience with Agile, Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and/or Digital Engineering
- RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support
- Interfacing with customers
- Developing & refining CONOPS, system architecture, system requirements, and requirements verification strategies & plans
- Performing functional & physical analyses and allocation
- Creating & maintaining specifications
- Subassembly and system integration & verification
- Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance
- Active Top Secret clearance (additional clearance may be required)
Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD per year.
