Sr. Project Engineer

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a Project Engineer to support production and programmatic operations, bridging factory and program teams.

• Participate in ERB/CCB, LOB, and production increment planning as the program Ops representative.
• Provide effectivities for variances, IRs, and CNs.
• Help facilitate communication between the factory and the program, informing the program of major factory issues and informing the factory of major program changes.
• Inform Manufacturing Engineers of approved VARs, CNs, and other items at board that affect hardware.
• Communicate across different factory levels.
• Create and manage Material Master and MBOM requests.
• Address large‑scale quality issues affecting the factory.
• Understand hardware configurations planned for contract production and ensure factory readiness.
• Assist with future contract proposals by providing BOMs for applicable hardware configurations and related tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience leading teams or projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance.
• Active and transferrable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills.

• Experience with manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP/PRISM.
• Experience or education in lean manufacturing.
• Experience or education in technical writing.

• Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (good faith estimate).
