Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a Project Engineer to support production and programmatic operations, bridging factory and program teams.
What You Will Do- Participate in ERB/CCB, LOB, and production increment planning as the program Ops representative.
- Provide effectivities for variances, IRs, and CNs.
- Help facilitate communication between the factory and the program, informing the program of major factory issues and informing the factory of major program changes.
- Inform Manufacturing Engineers of approved VARs, CNs, and other items at board that affect hardware.
- Communicate across different factory levels.
- Create and manage Material Master and MBOM requests.
- Address large‑scale quality issues affecting the factory.
- Understand hardware configurations planned for contract production and ensure factory readiness.
- Assist with future contract proposals by providing BOMs for applicable hardware configurations and related tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience leading teams or projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance.
- Active and transferrable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills.
- Experience with manufacturing processes.
- Experience with SAP/PRISM.
- Experience or education in lean manufacturing.
- Experience or education in technical writing.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (good faith estimate).
