Senior Test & Validation Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Systems (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Test & Validation Engineer to support the development and verification of advanced electro‑mechanical medical devices. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in system testing, test method development, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Python‑based data analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to develop test strategies, execute validation activities, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure product performance meets design requirements.

• Develop and validate engineering test methods (TMV)
• Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Develop comprehensive verification and validation test plans
• Build and maintain electro‑mechanical test beds and fixtures
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sensor and system performance data using Python
• Execute hands‑on testing of electro‑mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and system‑level issues and perform root cause analysis
• Document defects and manage the defect lifecycle with development partners
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present engineering findings
• Support system integration, reliability testing, and product verification activities
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineering teams

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of experience in systems testing, verification, validation, or product development
• Strong experience with electro‑mechanical systems
• Experience developing and validating engineering test methods (TMV)
• Hands‑on experience with Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Strong Python skills for engineering data analysis
• Experience with sensor characterization, digital signal analysis, and data acquisition
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills
• Excellent technical documentation and report‑writing skills

• Experience in the Medical Device or Diagnostics industry
• Experience working in an FDA‑regulated environment
• Familiarity with Verification & Validation (V&V) and reliability testing
• Experience supporting new product development from prototype through commercialization
