Principle Specialist, Procurement

• Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance.
• Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements.
• Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects.
• Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ.
• Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques.
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms).
• Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.
• Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems.
• Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 3 years experience.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
• Knowledge of export controls and related regulations (see https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

• Experience analyzing cost and pricing data and determining proposal compliance.
• Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
• Experience placing purchase orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.
• Experience contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility.
• SAP-based environment experience.
• Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria.

Salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
