Principal Systems Engineer – Tucson, AZ

This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable Secret-level security clearance. It is 100% on‑site at our Tucson, AZ campus.

• Update, maintain, and improve requirements and requirements documentation for development and production efforts.
• Support Design and System Verification testing.
• Provide SE guidance and support during integration and test efforts.
• Support system performance analysis, and integration and testing.
• Mentor and guide team members, including engagement of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Participate in failure investigations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs, including cross‑functional collaboration and coordination.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
• Support test equipment software integration and verification for system test.
• Support and drive production optimization/acceleration projects.

• Minimum:
  Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and at least 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience working on RF systems.
• Experience with production systems documentation.
• Preferred:
  Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
• Experience presenting analytical and technical presentations.
• Experience using Agile framework development methods and/or processes.
• Experience with Agile, Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and/or Digital Engineering.
• Experience driving project execution and owning schedule and technical rigor for projects.
• Experience with RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support.
• Self‑starter who can take on tasks with limited guidance.
• Customer‑focused collaboration skills.
• Experience performing trade studies to optimize system performance.
• Experience with DOORS and/or cPDM.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.
• Familiarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration management.
