Role Description

This full-time, on-site Analog Circuit Design Engineer role is based at Dataforth Corporation’s facility in Tucson, AZ. The engineer will design, analyze, and optimize analog and mixed-signal circuits for industrial data acquisition, signal conditioning, and isolation products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating schematics, performing simulations, selecting components, and conducting design reviews to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in firmware, test, manufacturing, and marketing to define requirements, support prototypes, and transition designs into production.

The engineer will also troubleshoot existing products, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and document designs and test results in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Circuit design skills, including experience with Circuit Design and Analog Circuit Design for industrial or high-reliability applications.
  • Analog domain expertise, including Analog Circuits and Analog fundamentals such as noise, stability, and precision signal conditioning.
  • Knowledge of Digital Circuit Design and mixed-signal interfaces for integrating analog front-ends with digital processing.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout, and simulation tools for SPICE-based circuit analysis.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience with industrial standards, EMC considerations, and designing for manufacturability and reliability is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
