A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior System Safety Engineer. Position Type:
Contract Duration: 12 months contract

Tucson, Arizona 85756 (Onsite) As a Senior System Safety Engineer, you will:

Job Description:

• Performing System Safety Program, Hazard analyses or Design analyses Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications, and military standards.

• Preparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety program

• Safety Review Board Authorities Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
• Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds

• Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design. Required Experience
• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience

• Leading one or more MIL STD 882E compliant system safety programs Performing MIL STD 882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customers approved equivalent Coordinating with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $90-$97 per hour
