This is an Entry Level Role onsite in Tucson, AZ
What You Will DoThe Processing, Guidance & Control Center is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to support execution of the portfolio of current and upcoming missile programs. As a Systems Engineer – Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping with the evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms. In the GNC department, we characterize system aerodynamics through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing, and design, integrate, and optimize effector guidance, tracking, navigation, and estimation algorithms to meet mission objectives.
We evaluate these solutions in flight testing at the system-level, or lower-level subsystem testing and evaluation. You will collaborate with a team of engineers in an integrated product team that will be responsible for tactical embedded software, firmware, and six degree-of-freedom simulations to achieve overall system performance requirements.
Master’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field. Degree must be obtained by start date.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
