Slot Floor Representative

Provides superior guest service while ensuring the accuracy of transactions and compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.

Maintains a pleasant atmosphere for guests and provides superior guest service at all times.

Interacts with guests; provides instruction on the operation of slot machines.

Resolves guest issues through the use of appropriate communication channels.

Handles monetary transactions quickly and accurately.

Performs and verifies jackpots according to approved and established procedures.

Assesses the condition of slot machines that indicate service is needed.

Maintains a working knowledge of promotions.

Assists supervisor with duties, as needed.

Complies with applicable procedures and regulations.

Completes appropriate logs and reports.

Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained; assists with maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Performs minor machine repairs.

Maintains an adequate level of supplies in work areas.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of guest service practices.

Knowledge of applicable procedures and regulations.

Excellent guest service skills.

Basic math skills and accurate money-handling skills.

Basic mechanical skills.

Ability to deal effectively with difficult guests.

Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to distinguish between different denominations of U.S. currency and correctly make changes.

Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

Ability to complete all necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.

Ability to print, write legibly, read, speak, and hear.

Ability to inspect and maintain assigned areas and equipment.

Ability to reach, carry, and deliver change to guests and to maintain a slot bank.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Ability to stand and walk during an entire shift.

Ability to work in a noisy, smoking environment.

Must successfully pass a job-related test.

Must present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.

Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Prior money-handling experience.
