Tax Analyst

Support tax compliance activities for 3M Group in APAC, including tax data analysis, VAT filing, and collaboration across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze discrepancies between SAP and One Source (OTD) tax calculations against source documents (invoices, proof of delivery, etc).
• Analyze data for appropriate tax technical treatment and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare tax account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and/or lead teams in tax compliance, governance, or ad hoc/special projects.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and ancillary reports.
• Process payment of tax due and monitor refund collection.
• Participate in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audits and tax audits, taking ownership of assigned tasks.

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Tax or Accounting preferred.
• Applicable professional certification preferred (CPA).
• 0-1 year of relevant working experience.
• Basic knowledge of tax theories, concepts, and practices.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and connected applications; knowledge of One Source (Sabrix) is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
