Manager Position
Our Branch Managers are enthusiastic about providing exceptional service to our members. This position is responsible for directing all branch functions including member service, sales, and business development. Branch Managers create an environment that encourages the use of electronic banking services, educates members, provides superior service, and develops relationships to position the credit union for future growth opportunities. They establish rapport with members, recommend the best financial products and services, and coach employees to do the same.
This role creates branch‑specific strategies to expand the credit union business and achieve credit union goals by increasing overall productivity, implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies, and capturing growth opportunities. The Branch Manager also oversees daily branch operations, including staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, discipline, discharge, supervision, and development. Branch Managers support or perform branch operation functions such as cash vault activity, monthly audits, dual‑control processes, and more.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred
- Five years previous management experience in a financial institution; OR
- Two years of the following:
Teller/New Accounts experience, Loan Officer experience, and supervisory experience in a financial institution - Knowledge of general financial institution policies and procedures
- Intermediate level proficiency with computers and software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
